Now open year-round, this Manhattan rooftop is just steps from the Hudson River and features views of Hell’s Kitchen. It's super easy and yummy on a hot summer day and it's great at room temperature on a picnic. My vegetarian friends love this dish sans the fish or chicken. I like to add a roasted or grilled piece of salmon or chicken on the side for the non-vegetarians. The atrium nearby is filled with shopping, stop by at j crew and see if Carol is in, she is an amazing stylist and can find you almost anything you are looking for. Le District is a bustling marketplace of exciting restaurants, fresh grocery stores, cafés, bars, and restaurants. Once you get out of the atrium you will have arrived at Le District, and WOW, it is gorgeous. That is just one of the many many reasons I love NYC, there is always something new to do and old favorites to revisit. Feeling both as if we were still in the greatest city in the world, yet like we were also on a vacation someplace else. After cocktails, we walked across the street through the glass dome atrium filled with towering palm trees and shopping.
